سُوْرَةُ نُوْحٍ
Nooh · Noah
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
-
Nooh 71:1
إِنَّآ أَرۡسَلۡنَا نُوحًا إِلَىٰ قَوۡمِهِۦٓ أَنۡ أَنذِرۡ قَوۡمَكَ مِن قَبۡلِ أَن يَأۡتِيَهُمۡ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمࣱ ١
1. Indeed, We sent Noah to his people, [saying], "Warn your people before there comes to them a painful punishment
71:1 -
Nooh 71:2
قَالَ يَٰقَوۡمِ إِنِّي لَكُمۡ نَذِيرࣱ مُّبِينٌ ٢
2. He said, "O my people, indeed I am to you a clear warner
71:2 -
Nooh 71:3
أَنِ ٱعۡبُدُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَٱتَّقُوهُ وَأَطِيعُونِ ٣
3. [Saying], 'Worship Allah, fear Him and obey me
71:3 -
Nooh 71:4
يَغۡفِرۡ لَكُم مِّن ذُنُوبِكُمۡ وَيُؤَخِّرۡكُمۡ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلࣲ مُّسَمًّىۚ إِنَّ أَجَلَ ٱللَّهِ إِذَا جَآءَ لَا يُؤَخَّرُۚ لَوۡ كُنتُمۡ تَعۡلَمُونَ ٤
4. Allah will forgive you of your sins and delay you for a specified term. Indeed, the time [set by] Allah, when it comes, will not be delayed, if you only knew
71:4 -
Nooh 71:5
قَالَ رَبِّ إِنِّي دَعَوۡتُ قَوۡمِي لَيۡلࣰ ا وَنَهَارࣰ ا ٥
5. He said, "My Lord, indeed I invited my people [to truth] night and day
71:5 -
Nooh 71:6
فَلَمۡ يَزِدۡهُمۡ دُعَآءِيٓ إِلَّا فِرَارࣰ ا ٦
6. But my invitation increased them not except in flight
71:6 -
Nooh 71:7
وَإِنِّي كُلَّمَا دَعَوۡتُهُمۡ لِتَغۡفِرَ لَهُمۡ جَعَلُوٓاْ أَصَٰبِعَهُمۡ فِيٓ ءَاذَانِهِمۡ وَٱسۡتَغۡشَوۡاْ ثِيَابَهُمۡ وَأَصَرُّواْ وَٱسۡتَكۡبَرُواْ ٱسۡتِكۡبَارࣰ ا ٧
7. And indeed, every time I invited them that You may forgive them, they put their fingers in their ears, covered themselves with their garments, persisted, and were arrogant with [great] arrogance
71:7 -
Nooh 71:8
ثُمَّ إِنِّي دَعَوۡتُهُمۡ جِهَارࣰ ا ٨
8. Then I invited them publicly
71:8 -
Nooh 71:9
ثُمَّ إِنِّيٓ أَعۡلَنتُ لَهُمۡ وَأَسۡرَرۡتُ لَهُمۡ إِسۡرَارࣰ ا ٩
9. Then I announced to them and [also] confided to them secretly
71:9 -
Nooh 71:10
فَقُلۡتُ ٱسۡتَغۡفِرُواْ رَبَّكُمۡ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ غَفَّارࣰ ا ١٠
10. And said, 'Ask forgiveness of your Lord. Indeed, He is ever a Perpetual Forgiver
71:10 -
Nooh 71:11
يُرۡسِلِ ٱلسَّمَآءَ عَلَيۡكُم مِّدۡرَارࣰ ا ١١
11. He will send [rain from] the sky upon you in [continuing] showers
71:11 -
Nooh 71:12
وَيُمۡدِدۡكُم بِأَمۡوَٰلࣲ وَبَنِينَ وَيَجۡعَل لَّكُمۡ جَنَّٰتࣲ وَيَجۡعَل لَّكُمۡ أَنۡهَٰرࣰ ا ١٢
12. And give you increase in wealth and children and provide for you gardens and provide for you rivers
71:12 -
Nooh 71:13
مَّا لَكُمۡ لَا تَرۡجُونَ لِلَّهِ وَقَارࣰ ا ١٣
13. What is [the matter] with you that you do not attribute to Allah [due] grandeur
71:13 -
Nooh 71:14
وَقَدۡ خَلَقَكُمۡ أَطۡوَارًا ١٤
14. While He has created you in stages

Nooh 71:15
أَلَمۡ تَرَوۡاْ كَيۡفَ خَلَقَ ٱللَّهُ سَبۡعَ سَمَٰوَٰتࣲ طِبَاقࣰ ا ١٥
15. Do you not consider how Allah has created seven heavens in layers
71:15 -
Nooh 71:16
وَجَعَلَ ٱلۡقَمَرَ فِيهِنَّ نُورࣰ ا وَجَعَلَ ٱلشَّمۡسَ سِرَاجࣰ ا ١٦
16. And made the moon therein a [reflected] light and made the sun a burning lamp
71:16 -
Nooh 71:17
وَٱللَّهُ أَنۢبَتَكُم مِّنَ ٱلۡأَرۡضِ نَبَاتࣰ ا ١٧
17. And Allah has caused you to grow from the earth a [progressive] growth
71:17 -
Nooh 71:18
ثُمَّ يُعِيدُكُمۡ فِيهَا وَيُخۡرِجُكُمۡ إِخۡرَاجࣰ ا ١٨
18. Then He will return you into it and extract you [another] extraction
71:18 -
Nooh 71:19
وَٱللَّهُ جَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ بِسَاطࣰ ا ١٩
19. And Allah has made for you the earth an expanse

لِّتَسۡلُكُواْ مِنۡهَا سُبُلࣰ ا فِجَاجࣰ ا ٢٠
20. That you may follow therein roads of passage

Nooh 71:21
قَالَ نُوحࣱ رَّبِّ إِنَّهُمۡ عَصَوۡنِي وَٱتَّبَعُواْ مَن لَّمۡ يَزِدۡهُ مَالُهُۥ وَوَلَدُهُۥٓ إِلَّا خَسَارࣰ ا ٢١
21. Noah said, "My Lord, indeed they have disobeyed me and followed him whose wealth and children will not increase him except in loss
71:21 -
Nooh 71:22
وَمَكَرُواْ مَكۡرࣰ ا كُبَّارࣰ ا ٢٢
22. And they conspired an immense conspiracy
71:22 -
Nooh 71:23
وَقَالُواْ لَا تَذَرُنَّ ءَالِهَتَكُمۡ وَلَا تَذَرُنَّ وَدࣰّ ا وَلَا سُوَاعࣰ ا وَلَا يَغُوثَ وَيَعُوقَ وَنَسۡرࣰ ا ٢٣
23. And said, 'Never leave your gods and never leave Wadd or Suwa' or Yaghuth and Ya'uq and Nasr
71:23 -
Nooh 71:24
وَقَدۡ أَضَلُّواْ كَثِيرࣰ اۖ وَلَا تَزِدِ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ إِلَّا ضَلَٰلࣰ ا ٢٤
24. And already they have misled many. And, [my Lord], do not increase the wrongdoers except in error
71:24 -
Nooh 71:25
مِّمَّا خَطِيٓـَٰٔتِهِمۡ أُغۡرِقُواْ فَأُدۡخِلُواْ نَارࣰ ا فَلَمۡ يَجِدُواْ لَهُم مِّن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ أَنصَارࣰ ا ٢٥
25. Because of their sins they were drowned and put into the Fire, and they found not for themselves besides Allah [any] helpers
71:25 -
Nooh 71:26
وَقَالَ نُوحࣱ رَّبِّ لَا تَذَرۡ عَلَى ٱلۡأَرۡضِ مِنَ ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ دَيَّارًا ٢٦
26. And Noah said, "My Lord, do not leave upon the earth from among the disbelievers an inhabitant
71:26 -
Nooh 71:27
إِنَّكَ إِن تَذَرۡهُمۡ يُضِلُّواْ عِبَادَكَ وَلَا يَلِدُوٓاْ إِلَّا فَاجِرࣰ ا كَفَّارࣰ ا ٢٧
27. Indeed, if You leave them, they will mislead Your servants and not beget except [every] wicked one and [confirmed] disbeliever
71:27 -
Nooh 71:28
رَّبِّ ٱغۡفِرۡ لِي وَلِوَٰلِدَيَّ وَلِمَن دَخَلَ بَيۡتِيَ مُؤۡمِنࣰ ا وَلِلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ وَٱلۡمُؤۡمِنَٰتِۖ وَلَا تَزِدِ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ إِلَّا تَبَارَۢا ٢٨
28. My Lord, forgive me and my parents and whoever enters my house a believer and the believing men and believing women. And do not increase the wrongdoers except in destruction
71:28
Translation: Saheeh International
