سُوْرَةُ الْقِيَامَةِ

1. Al-Qiyaama 75:1

   لَآ أُقۡسِمُ بِيَوۡمِ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ ۝١

   1. I swear by the Day of Resurrection

2. Al-Qiyaama 75:2

   وَلَآ أُقۡسِمُ بِٱلنَّفۡسِ ٱللَّوَّامَةِ ۝٢

   2. And I swear by the reproaching soul [to the certainty of resurrection]

3. Al-Qiyaama 75:3

   أَيَحۡسَبُ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ أَلَّن نَّجۡمَعَ عِظَامَهُۥ ۝٣

   3. Does man think that We will not assemble his bones

4. Al-Qiyaama 75:4

   بَلَىٰ قَٰدِرِينَ عَلَىٰٓ أَن نُّسَوِّيَ بَنَانَهُۥ ۝٤

   4. Yes. [We are] Able [even] to proportion his fingertips

5. Al-Qiyaama 75:5

   بَلۡ يُرِيدُ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ لِيَفۡجُرَ أَمَامَهُۥ ۝٥

   5. But man desires to continue in sin

6. Al-Qiyaama 75:6

   يَسۡـَٔلُ أَيَّانَ يَوۡمُ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ ۝٦

   6. He asks, "When is the Day of Resurrection

7. Al-Qiyaama 75:7

   فَإِذَا بَرِقَ ٱلۡبَصَرُ ۝٧

   7. So when vision is dazzled

   وَخَسَفَ ٱلۡقَمَرُ ۝٨

   8. And the moon darkens

   وَجُمِعَ ٱلشَّمۡسُ وَٱلۡقَمَرُ ۝٩

   9. And the sun and the moon are joined

10. Al-Qiyaama 75:10

    يَقُولُ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ يَوۡمَئِذٍ أَيۡنَ ٱلۡمَفَرُّ ۝١٠

    10. Man will say on that Day, "Where is the [place of] escape

11. Al-Qiyaama 75:11

    كَلَّا لَا وَزَرَ ۝١١

    11. No! There is no refuge

12. Al-Qiyaama 75:12

    إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ يَوۡمَئِذٍ ٱلۡمُسۡتَقَرُّ ۝١٢

    12. To your Lord, that Day, is the [place of] permanence

13. Al-Qiyaama 75:13

    يُنَبَّؤُاْ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ يَوۡمَئِذِۭ بِمَا قَدَّمَ وَأَخَّرَ ۝١٣

    13. Man will be informed that Day of what he sent ahead and kept back

14. Al-Qiyaama 75:14

    بَلِ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ عَلَىٰ نَفۡسِهِۦ بَصِيرَةࣱ‏ ۝١٤

    14. Rather, man, against himself, will be a witness

15. Al-Qiyaama 75:15

    وَلَوۡ أَلۡقَىٰ مَعَاذِيرَهُۥ ۝١٥

    15. Even if he presents his excuses

16. Al-Qiyaama 75:16

    لَا تُحَرِّكۡ بِهِۦ لِسَانَكَ لِتَعۡجَلَ بِهِۦٓ ۝١٦

    16. Move not your tongue with it, [O Muhammad], to hasten with recitation of the Qur'an

17. Al-Qiyaama 75:17

    إِنَّ عَلَيۡنَا جَمۡعَهُۥ وَقُرۡءَانَهُۥ ۝١٧

    17. Indeed, upon Us is its collection [in your heart] and [to make possible] its recitation

18. Al-Qiyaama 75:18

    فَإِذَا قَرَأۡنَٰهُ فَٱتَّبِعۡ قُرۡءَانَهُۥ ۝١٨

    18. So when We have recited it [through Gabriel], then follow its recitation

19. Al-Qiyaama 75:19

    ثُمَّ إِنَّ عَلَيۡنَا بَيَانَهُۥ ۝١٩

    19. Then upon Us is its clarification [to you]

20. Al-Qiyaama 75:20

    كَلَّا بَلۡ تُحِبُّونَ ٱلۡعَاجِلَةَ ۝٢٠

    20. No! But you love the immediate

21. Al-Qiyaama 75:21

    وَتَذَرُونَ ٱلۡأٓخِرَةَ ۝٢١

    21. And leave the Hereafter

22. Al-Qiyaama 75:22

    وُجُوهࣱ يَوۡمَئِذࣲ نَّاضِرَةٌ ۝٢٢

    22. [Some] faces, that Day, will be radiant

23. Al-Qiyaama 75:23

    إِلَىٰ رَبِّهَا نَاظِرَةࣱ‏ ۝٢٣

    23. Looking at their Lord

24. Al-Qiyaama 75:24

    وَوُجُوهࣱ يَوۡمَئِذِۭ بَاسِرَةࣱ‏ ۝٢٤

    24. And [some] faces, that Day, will be contorted

25. Al-Qiyaama 75:25

    تَظُنُّ أَن يُفۡعَلَ بِهَا فَاقِرَةࣱ‏ ۝٢٥

    25. Expecting that there will be done to them [something] backbreaking

26. Al-Qiyaama 75:26

    كَلَّآ إِذَا بَلَغَتِ ٱلتَّرَاقِيَ ۝٢٦

    26. No! When the soul has reached the collar bones

27. Al-Qiyaama 75:27

    وَقِيلَ مَنۡۜ رَاقࣲ‏ ۝٢٧

    27. And it is said, "Who will cure [him]

28. Al-Qiyaama 75:28

    وَظَنَّ أَنَّهُ ٱلۡفِرَاقُ ۝٢٨

    28. And the dying one is certain that it is the [time of] separation

29. Al-Qiyaama 75:29

    وَٱلۡتَفَّتِ ٱلسَّاقُ بِٱلسَّاقِ ۝٢٩

    29. And the leg is wound about the leg

30. Al-Qiyaama 75:30

    إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ يَوۡمَئِذٍ ٱلۡمَسَاقُ ۝٣٠

    30. To your Lord, that Day, will be the procession

31. Al-Qiyaama 75:31

    فَلَا صَدَّقَ وَلَا صَلَّىٰ ۝٣١

    31. And the disbeliever had not believed, nor had he prayed

32. Al-Qiyaama 75:32

    وَلَٰكِن كَذَّبَ وَتَوَلَّىٰ ۝٣٢

    32. But [instead], he denied and turned away

33. Al-Qiyaama 75:33

    ثُمَّ ذَهَبَ إِلَىٰٓ أَهۡلِهِۦ يَتَمَطَّىٰٓ ۝٣٣

    33. And then he went to his people, swaggering [in pride]

34. Al-Qiyaama 75:34

    أَوۡلَىٰ لَكَ فَأَوۡلَىٰ ۝٣٤

    34. Woe to you, and woe

35. Al-Qiyaama 75:35

    ثُمَّ أَوۡلَىٰ لَكَ فَأَوۡلَىٰٓ ۝٣٥

    35. Then woe to you, and woe

36. Al-Qiyaama 75:36

    أَيَحۡسَبُ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ أَن يُتۡرَكَ سُدًى ۝٣٦

    36. Does man think that he will be left neglected

37. Al-Qiyaama 75:37

    أَلَمۡ يَكُ نُطۡفَةࣰ مِّن مَّنِيࣲّ يُمۡنَىٰ ۝٣٧

    37. Had he not been a sperm from semen emitted

38. Al-Qiyaama 75:38

    ثُمَّ كَانَ عَلَقَةࣰ فَخَلَقَ فَسَوَّىٰ ۝٣٨

    38. Then he was a clinging clot, and [Allah] created [his form] and proportioned [him]

39. Al-Qiyaama 75:39

    فَجَعَلَ مِنۡهُ ٱلزَّوۡجَيۡنِ ٱلذَّكَرَ وَٱلۡأُنثَىٰٓ ۝٣٩

    39. And made of him two mates, the male and the female

40. Al-Qiyaama 75:40

    أَلَيۡسَ ذَٰلِكَ بِقَٰدِرٍ عَلَىٰٓ أَن يُحۡـِۧيَ ٱلۡمَوۡتَىٰ ۝٤٠

    40. Is not that [Creator] Able to give life to the dead

Translation: Saheeh International
