سُوْرَةُ الْمُرْسَلَاتِ

1. Al-Mursalaat 77:1

   وَٱلۡمُرۡسَلَٰتِ عُرۡفࣰ ا ۝١

   1. By those [winds] sent forth in gusts

2. Al-Mursalaat 77:2

   فَٱلۡعَٰصِفَٰتِ عَصۡفࣰ ا ۝٢

   2. And the winds that blow violently

3. Al-Mursalaat 77:3

   وَٱلنَّٰشِرَٰتِ نَشۡرࣰ ا ۝٣

   3. And [by] the winds that spread [clouds]

4. Al-Mursalaat 77:4

   فَٱلۡفَٰرِقَٰتِ فَرۡقࣰ ا ۝٤

   4. And those [angels] who bring criterion

5. Al-Mursalaat 77:5

   فَٱلۡمُلۡقِيَٰتِ ذِكۡرًا ۝٥

   5. And those [angels] who deliver a message

6. Al-Mursalaat 77:6

   عُذۡرًا أَوۡ نُذۡرًا ۝٦

   6. As justification or warning

7. Al-Mursalaat 77:7

   إِنَّمَا تُوعَدُونَ لَوَٰقِعࣱ‏ ۝٧

   7. Indeed, what you are promised is to occur

8. Al-Mursalaat 77:8

   فَإِذَا ٱلنُّجُومُ طُمِسَتۡ ۝٨

   8. So when the stars are obliterated

9. Al-Mursalaat 77:9

   وَإِذَا ٱلسَّمَآءُ فُرِجَتۡ ۝٩

   9. And when the heaven is opened

   77:9 Tafsir Copy Share

10. Al-Mursalaat 77:10

    وَإِذَا ٱلۡجِبَالُ نُسِفَتۡ ۝١٠

    10. And when the mountains are blown away

11. Al-Mursalaat 77:11

    وَإِذَا ٱلرُّسُلُ أُقِّتَتۡ ۝١١

    11. And when the messengers' time has come

12. Al-Mursalaat 77:12

    لِأَيِّ يَوۡمٍ أُجِّلَتۡ ۝١٢

    12. For what Day was it postponed

13. Al-Mursalaat 77:13

    لِيَوۡمِ ٱلۡفَصۡلِ ۝١٣

    13. For the Day of Judgement

14. Al-Mursalaat 77:14

    وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا يَوۡمُ ٱلۡفَصۡلِ ۝١٤

    14. And what can make you know what is the Day of Judgement

15. Al-Mursalaat 77:15

    وَيۡلࣱ يَوۡمَئِذࣲ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ ۝١٥

    15. Woe, that Day, to the deniers

16. Al-Mursalaat 77:16

    أَلَمۡ نُهۡلِكِ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ ۝١٦

    16. Did We not destroy the former peoples

17. Al-Mursalaat 77:17

    ثُمَّ نُتۡبِعُهُمُ ٱلۡأٓخِرِينَ ۝١٧

    17. Then We will follow them with the later ones

18. Al-Mursalaat 77:18

    كَذَٰلِكَ نَفۡعَلُ بِٱلۡمُجۡرِمِينَ ۝١٨

    18. Thus do We deal with the criminals

19. Al-Mursalaat 77:19

    وَيۡلࣱ يَوۡمَئِذࣲ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ ۝١٩

    19. Woe, that Day, to the deniers

20. Al-Mursalaat 77:20

    أَلَمۡ نَخۡلُقكُّم مِّن مَّآءࣲ مَّهِينࣲ‏ ۝٢٠

    20. Did We not create you from a liquid disdained

21. Al-Mursalaat 77:21

    فَجَعَلۡنَٰهُ فِي قَرَارࣲ مَّكِينٍ ۝٢١

    21. And We placed it in a firm lodging

22. Al-Mursalaat 77:22

    إِلَىٰ قَدَرࣲ مَّعۡلُومࣲ‏ ۝٢٢

    22. For a known extent

    77:22 Tafsir Copy Share

23. Al-Mursalaat 77:23

    فَقَدَرۡنَا فَنِعۡمَ ٱلۡقَٰدِرُونَ ۝٢٣

    23. And We determined [it], and excellent [are We] to determine

24. Al-Mursalaat 77:24

    وَيۡلࣱ يَوۡمَئِذࣲ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ ۝٢٤

    24. Woe, that Day, to the deniers

25. Al-Mursalaat 77:25

    أَلَمۡ نَجۡعَلِ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ كِفَاتًا ۝٢٥

    25. Have We not made the earth a container

    وَجَعَلۡنَا فِيهَا رَوَٰسِيَ شَٰمِخَٰتࣲ وَأَسۡقَيۡنَٰكُم مَّآءࣰ فُرَاتࣰ ا ۝٢٧

    27. And We placed therein lofty, firmly set mountains and have given you to drink sweet water

    وَيۡلࣱ يَوۡمَئِذࣲ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ ۝٢٨

    28. Woe, that Day, to the deniers

29. Al-Mursalaat 77:29

    ٱنطَلِقُوٓاْ إِلَىٰ مَا كُنتُم بِهِۦ تُكَذِّبُونَ ۝٢٩

    29. [They will be told], "Proceed to that which you used to deny

30. Al-Mursalaat 77:30

    ٱنطَلِقُوٓاْ إِلَىٰ ظِلࣲّ ذِي ثَلَٰثِ شُعَبࣲ‏ ۝٣٠

    30. Proceed to a shadow [of smoke] having three columns

31. Al-Mursalaat 77:31

    لَّا ظَلِيلࣲ وَلَا يُغۡنِي مِنَ ٱللَّهَبِ ۝٣١

    31. [But having] no cool shade and availing not against the flame

32. Al-Mursalaat 77:32

    إِنَّهَا تَرۡمِي بِشَرَرࣲ كَٱلۡقَصۡرِ ۝٣٢

    32. Indeed, it throws sparks [as huge] as a fortress

33. Al-Mursalaat 77:33

    كَأَنَّهُۥ جِمَٰلَتࣱ صُفۡرࣱ‏ ۝٣٣

    33. As if they were yellowish [black] camels

34. Al-Mursalaat 77:34

    وَيۡلࣱ يَوۡمَئِذࣲ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ ۝٣٤

    34. Woe, that Day, to the deniers

35. Al-Mursalaat 77:35

    هَٰذَا يَوۡمُ لَا يَنطِقُونَ ۝٣٥

    35. This is a Day they will not speak

36. Al-Mursalaat 77:36

    وَلَا يُؤۡذَنُ لَهُمۡ فَيَعۡتَذِرُونَ ۝٣٦

    36. Nor will it be permitted for them to make an excuse

37. Al-Mursalaat 77:37

    وَيۡلࣱ يَوۡمَئِذࣲ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ ۝٣٧

    37. Woe, that Day, to the deniers

38. Al-Mursalaat 77:38

    هَٰذَا يَوۡمُ ٱلۡفَصۡلِۖ جَمَعۡنَٰكُمۡ وَٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ ۝٣٨

    38. This is the Day of Judgement; We will have assembled you and the former peoples

39. Al-Mursalaat 77:39

    فَإِن كَانَ لَكُمۡ كَيۡدࣱ فَكِيدُونِ ۝٣٩

    39. So if you have a plan, then plan against Me

40. Al-Mursalaat 77:40

    وَيۡلࣱ يَوۡمَئِذࣲ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ ۝٤٠

    40. Woe, that Day, to the deniers

41. Al-Mursalaat 77:41

    إِنَّ ٱلۡمُتَّقِينَ فِي ظِلَٰلࣲ وَعُيُونࣲ‏ ۝٤١

    41. Indeed, the righteous will be among shades and springs

42. Al-Mursalaat 77:42

    وَفَوَٰكِهَ مِمَّا يَشۡتَهُونَ ۝٤٢

    42. And fruits from whatever they desire

43. Al-Mursalaat 77:43

    كُلُواْ وَٱشۡرَبُواْ هَنِيٓـَٔۢا بِمَا كُنتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُونَ ۝٤٣

    43. [Being told], "Eat and drink in satisfaction for what you used to do

44. Al-Mursalaat 77:44

    إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجۡزِي ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَ ۝٤٤

    44. Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good

45. Al-Mursalaat 77:45

    وَيۡلࣱ يَوۡمَئِذࣲ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ ۝٤٥

    45. Woe, that Day, to the deniers

46. Al-Mursalaat 77:46

    كُلُواْ وَتَمَتَّعُواْ قَلِيلًا إِنَّكُم مُّجۡرِمُونَ ۝٤٦

    46. [O disbelievers], eat and enjoy yourselves a little; indeed, you are criminals

47. Al-Mursalaat 77:47

    وَيۡلࣱ يَوۡمَئِذࣲ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ ۝٤٧

    47. Woe, that Day, to the deniers

48. Al-Mursalaat 77:48

    وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ ٱرۡكَعُواْ لَا يَرۡكَعُونَ ۝٤٨

    48. And when it is said to them, "Bow [in prayer]," they do not bow

49. Al-Mursalaat 77:49

    وَيۡلࣱ يَوۡمَئِذࣲ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ ۝٤٩

    49. Woe, that Day, to the deniers

50. Al-Mursalaat 77:50

    فَبِأَيِّ حَدِيثِۭ بَعۡدَهُۥ يُؤۡمِنُونَ ۝٥٠

    50. Then in what statement after the Qur'an will they believe
