سُوْرَةُ النَّازِعَاتِ

1. An-Naazi'aat 79:1

   وَٱلنَّٰزِعَٰتِ غَرۡقࣰ ا ۝١

   1. By those [angels] who extract with violence

2. An-Naazi'aat 79:2

   وَٱلنَّٰشِطَٰتِ نَشۡطࣰ ا ۝٢

   2. And [by] those who remove with ease

3. An-Naazi'aat 79:3

   وَٱلسَّٰبِحَٰتِ سَبۡحࣰ ا ۝٣

   3. And [by] those who glide [as if] swimming

4. An-Naazi'aat 79:4

   فَٱلسَّٰبِقَٰتِ سَبۡقࣰ ا ۝٤

   4. And those who race each other in a race

5. An-Naazi'aat 79:5

   فَٱلۡمُدَبِّرَٰتِ أَمۡرࣰ ا ۝٥

   5. And those who arrange [each] matter

6. An-Naazi'aat 79:6

   يَوۡمَ تَرۡجُفُ ٱلرَّاجِفَةُ ۝٦

   6. On the Day the blast [of the Horn] will convulse [creation]

7. An-Naazi'aat 79:7

   تَتۡبَعُهَا ٱلرَّادِفَةُ ۝٧

   7. There will follow it the subsequent [one]

8. An-Naazi'aat 79:8

   قُلُوبࣱ يَوۡمَئِذࣲ وَاجِفَةٌ ۝٨

   8. Hearts, that Day, will tremble

9. An-Naazi'aat 79:9

   أَبۡصَٰرُهَا خَٰشِعَةࣱ‏ ۝٩

   9. Their eyes humbled

10. An-Naazi'aat 79:10

    يَقُولُونَ أَءِنَّا لَمَرۡدُودُونَ فِي ٱلۡحَافِرَةِ ۝١٠

    10. They are [presently] saying, "Will we indeed be returned to [our] former state [of life]

11. An-Naazi'aat 79:11

    أَءِذَا كُنَّا عِظَٰمࣰ ا نَّخِرَةࣰ‏ ۝١١

    11. Even if we should be decayed bones

12. An-Naazi'aat 79:12

    قَالُواْ تِلۡكَ إِذࣰ ا كَرَّةٌ خَاسِرَةࣱ‏ ۝١٢

    12. They say, "That, then, would be a losing return

13. An-Naazi'aat 79:13

    فَإِنَّمَا هِيَ زَجۡرَةࣱ وَٰحِدَةࣱ‏ ۝١٣

    13. Indeed, it will be but one shout

14. An-Naazi'aat 79:14

    فَإِذَا هُم بِٱلسَّاهِرَةِ ۝١٤

    14. And suddenly they will be [alert] upon the earth's surface

15. An-Naazi'aat 79:15

    هَلۡ أَتَىٰكَ حَدِيثُ مُوسَىٰٓ ۝١٥

    15. Has there reached you the story of Moses

16. An-Naazi'aat 79:16

    إِذۡ نَادَىٰهُ رَبُّهُۥ بِٱلۡوَادِ ٱلۡمُقَدَّسِ طُوًى ۝١٦

    16. When his Lord called to him in the sacred valley of Tuwa

17. An-Naazi'aat 79:17

    ٱذۡهَبۡ إِلَىٰ فِرۡعَوۡنَ إِنَّهُۥ طَغَىٰ ۝١٧

    17. Go to Pharaoh. Indeed, he has transgressed

18. An-Naazi'aat 79:18

    فَقُلۡ هَل لَّكَ إِلَىٰٓ أَن تَزَكَّىٰ ۝١٨

    18. And say to him, 'Would you [be willing to] purify yourself

19. An-Naazi'aat 79:19

    وَأَهۡدِيَكَ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ فَتَخۡشَىٰ ۝١٩

    19. And let me guide you to your Lord so you would fear [Him]

20. An-Naazi'aat 79:20

    فَأَرَىٰهُ ٱلۡأٓيَةَ ٱلۡكُبۡرَىٰ ۝٢٠

    20. And he showed him the greatest sign

21. An-Naazi'aat 79:21

    فَكَذَّبَ وَعَصَىٰ ۝٢١

    21. But Pharaoh denied and disobeyed

22. An-Naazi'aat 79:22

    ثُمَّ أَدۡبَرَ يَسۡعَىٰ ۝٢٢

    22. Then he turned his back, striving

23. An-Naazi'aat 79:23

    فَحَشَرَ فَنَادَىٰ ۝٢٣

    23. And he gathered [his people] and called out

24. An-Naazi'aat 79:24

    فَقَالَ أَنَا۠ رَبُّكُمُ ٱلۡأَعۡلَىٰ ۝٢٤

    24. And said, "I am your most exalted lord

25. An-Naazi'aat 79:25

    فَأَخَذَهُ ٱللَّهُ نَكَالَ ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ وَٱلۡأُولَىٰٓ ۝٢٥

    25. So Allah seized him in exemplary punishment for the last and the first [transgression]

26. An-Naazi'aat 79:26

    إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَعِبۡرَةࣰ لِّمَن يَخۡشَىٰٓ ۝٢٦

    26. Indeed in that is a warning for whoever would fear [Allah]

27. An-Naazi'aat 79:27

    ءَأَنتُمۡ أَشَدُّ خَلۡقًا أَمِ ٱلسَّمَآءُۚ بَنَىٰهَا ۝٢٧

    27. Are you a more difficult creation or is the heaven? Allah constructed it

    رَفَعَ سَمۡكَهَا فَسَوَّىٰهَا ۝٢٨

    28. He raised its ceiling and proportioned it

    وَأَغۡطَشَ لَيۡلَهَا وَأَخۡرَجَ ضُحَىٰهَا ۝٢٩

    29. And He darkened its night and extracted its brightness

    30. And after that He spread the earth

    أَخۡرَجَ مِنۡهَا مَآءَهَا وَمَرۡعَىٰهَا ۝٣١

    31. He extracted from it its water and its pasture

    وَٱلۡجِبَالَ أَرۡسَىٰهَا ۝٣٢

    32. And the mountains He set firmly

    فَإِذَا جَآءَتِ ٱلطَّآمَّةُ ٱلۡكُبۡرَىٰ ۝٣٤

    34. But when there comes the greatest Overwhelming Calamity

    يَوۡمَ يَتَذَكَّرُ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ مَا سَعَىٰ ۝٣٥

    35. The Day when man will remember that for which he strove

36. An-Naazi'aat 79:36

    وَبُرِّزَتِ ٱلۡجَحِيمُ لِمَن يَرَىٰ ۝٣٦

    36. And Hellfire will be exposed for [all] those who see

37. An-Naazi'aat 79:37

    فَأَمَّا مَن طَغَىٰ ۝٣٧

    37. So as for he who transgressed

38. An-Naazi'aat 79:38

    وَءَاثَرَ ٱلۡحَيَوٰةَ ٱلدُّنۡيَا ۝٣٨

    38. And preferred the life of the world

39. An-Naazi'aat 79:39

    فَإِنَّ ٱلۡجَحِيمَ هِيَ ٱلۡمَأۡوَىٰ ۝٣٩

    39. Then indeed, Hellfire will be [his] refuge

40. An-Naazi'aat 79:40

    وَأَمَّا مَنۡ خَافَ مَقَامَ رَبِّهِۦ وَنَهَى ٱلنَّفۡسَ عَنِ ٱلۡهَوَىٰ ۝٤٠

    40. But as for he who feared the position of his Lord and prevented the soul from [unlawful] inclination

41. An-Naazi'aat 79:41

    فَإِنَّ ٱلۡجَنَّةَ هِيَ ٱلۡمَأۡوَىٰ ۝٤١

    41. Then indeed, Paradise will be [his] refuge

42. An-Naazi'aat 79:42

    يَسۡـَٔلُونَكَ عَنِ ٱلسَّاعَةِ أَيَّانَ مُرۡسَىٰهَا ۝٤٢

    42. They ask you, [O Muhammad], about the Hour: when is its arrival

43. An-Naazi'aat 79:43

    فِيمَ أَنتَ مِن ذِكۡرَىٰهَآ ۝٤٣

    43. In what [position] are you that you should mention it

44. An-Naazi'aat 79:44

    إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ مُنتَهَىٰهَآ ۝٤٤

    44. To your Lord is its finality

45. An-Naazi'aat 79:45

    إِنَّمَآ أَنتَ مُنذِرُ مَن يَخۡشَىٰهَا ۝٤٥

    45. You are only a warner for those who fear it

46. An-Naazi'aat 79:46

    كَأَنَّهُمۡ يَوۡمَ يَرَوۡنَهَا لَمۡ يَلۡبَثُوٓاْ إِلَّا عَشِيَّةً أَوۡ ضُحَىٰهَا ۝٤٦

    46. It will be, on the Day they see it, as though they had not remained [in the world] except for an afternoon or a morning thereof

Translation: Saheeh International
