سُوْرَةُ الرَّحْمٰنِ

Ar-Rahmaan · The Beneficent

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

  1. ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنُ ۝١

    1. The Most Merciful

    55:1

  2. عَلَّمَ ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ ۝٢

    2. Taught the Qur'an

    55:2

  3. خَلَقَ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ ۝٣

    3. Created man

    55:3

  4. عَلَّمَهُ ٱلۡبَيَانَ ۝٤

    4. [And] taught him eloquence

    55:4

  5. ٱلشَّمۡسُ وَٱلۡقَمَرُ بِحُسۡبَانࣲ‏ ۝٥

    5. The sun and the moon [move] by precise calculation

  6. وَٱلنَّجۡمُ وَٱلشَّجَرُ يَسۡجُدَانِ ۝٦

    6. And the stars and trees prostrate

  7. وَٱلسَّمَآءَ رَفَعَهَا وَوَضَعَ ٱلۡمِيزَانَ ۝٧

    7. And the heaven He raised and imposed the balance

    55:7

  8. أَلَّا تَطۡغَوۡاْ فِي ٱلۡمِيزَانِ ۝٨

    8. That you not transgress within the balance

    55:8

  9. وَأَقِيمُواْ ٱلۡوَزۡنَ بِٱلۡقِسۡطِ وَلَا تُخۡسِرُواْ ٱلۡمِيزَانَ ۝٩

    9. And establish weight in justice and do not make deficient the balance

    55:9

  10. وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ وَضَعَهَا لِلۡأَنَامِ ۝١٠

    10. And the earth He laid [out] for the creatures

    55:10

  11. فِيهَا فَٰكِهَةࣱ وَٱلنَّخۡلُ ذَاتُ ٱلۡأَكۡمَامِ ۝١١

    11. Therein is fruit and palm trees having sheaths [of dates]

    55:11

  12. وَٱلۡحَبُّ ذُو ٱلۡعَصۡفِ وَٱلرَّيۡحَانُ ۝١٢

    12. And grain having husks and scented plants

    55:12

  13. فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ۝١٣

    13. So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

    55:13

  14. خَلَقَ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ مِن صَلۡصَٰلࣲ كَٱلۡفَخَّارِ ۝١٤

    14. He created man from clay like [that of] pottery

    55:14

  15. وَخَلَقَ ٱلۡجَآنَّ مِن مَّارِجࣲ مِّن نَّارࣲ‏ ۝١٥

    15. And He created the jinn from a smokeless flame of fire

  16. فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ۝١٦

    16. So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

    55:16

  17. رَبُّ ٱلۡمَشۡرِقَيۡنِ وَرَبُّ ٱلۡمَغۡرِبَيۡنِ ۝١٧

    17. [He is] Lord of the two sunrises and Lord of the two sunsets

    55:17

  18. فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ۝١٨

    18. So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

    55:18

  19. مَرَجَ ٱلۡبَحۡرَيۡنِ يَلۡتَقِيَانِ ۝١٩

    19. He released the two seas, meeting [side by side]

  20. بَيۡنَهُمَا بَرۡزَخࣱ لَّا يَبۡغِيَانِ ۝٢٠

    20. Between them is a barrier [so] neither of them transgresses

  21. فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ۝٢١

    21. So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

    55:21

  22. يَخۡرُجُ مِنۡهُمَا ٱللُّؤۡلُؤُ وَٱلۡمَرۡجَانُ ۝٢٢

    22. From both of them emerge pearl and coral

  23. فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ۝٢٣

    23. So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

    55:23

  24. وَلَهُ ٱلۡجَوَارِ ٱلۡمُنشَـَٔاتُ فِي ٱلۡبَحۡرِ كَٱلۡأَعۡلَٰمِ ۝٢٤

    24. And to Him belong the ships [with sails] elevated in the sea like mountains

    55:24

  25. فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ۝٢٥

    25. So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

    55:25

  26. كُلُّ مَنۡ عَلَيۡهَا فَانࣲ‏ ۝٢٦

    26. Everyone upon the earth will perish

  27. وَيَبۡقَىٰ وَجۡهُ رَبِّكَ ذُو ٱلۡجَلَٰلِ وَٱلۡإِكۡرَامِ ۝٢٧

    27. And there will remain the Face of your Lord, Owner of Majesty and Honor

  28. فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ۝٢٨

    28. So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

    55:28

  29. يَسۡـَٔلُهُۥ مَن فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ كُلَّ يَوۡمٍ هُوَ فِي شَأۡنࣲ‏ ۝٢٩

    29. Whoever is within the heavens and earth asks Him; every day He is bringing about a matter

    55:29

  30. فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ۝٣٠

    30. So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

    55:30

  31. سَنَفۡرُغُ لَكُمۡ أَيُّهَ ٱلثَّقَلَانِ ۝٣١

    31. We will attend to you, O prominent beings

    55:31

  32. فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ۝٣٢

    32. So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

    55:32

  33. يَٰمَعۡشَرَ ٱلۡجِنِّ وَٱلۡإِنسِ إِنِ ٱسۡتَطَعۡتُمۡ أَن تَنفُذُواْ مِنۡ أَقۡطَارِ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ فَٱنفُذُواْۚ لَا تَنفُذُونَ إِلَّا بِسُلۡطَٰنࣲ‏ ۝٣٣

    33. O company of jinn and mankind, if you are able to pass beyond the regions of the heavens and the earth, then pass. You will not pass except by authority [from Allah]

  34. فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ۝٣٤

    34. So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

    55:34

  35. يُرۡسَلُ عَلَيۡكُمَا شُوَاظࣱ مِّن نَّارࣲ وَنُحَاسࣱ فَلَا تَنتَصِرَانِ ۝٣٥

    35. There will be sent upon you a flame of fire and smoke, and you will not defend yourselves

    55:35

  36. فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ۝٣٦

    36. So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

    55:36

  37. فَإِذَا ٱنشَقَّتِ ٱلسَّمَآءُ فَكَانَتۡ وَرۡدَةࣰ كَٱلدِّهَانِ ۝٣٧

    37. And when the heaven is split open and becomes rose-colored like oil

    55:37

  38. فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ۝٣٨

    38. So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

    55:38

  39. فَيَوۡمَئِذࣲ لَّا يُسۡـَٔلُ عَن ذَنۢبِهِۦٓ إِنسࣱ وَلَا جَآنࣱّ‏ ۝٣٩

    39. Then on that Day none will be asked about his sin among men or jinn

    55:39

  40. فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ۝٤٠

    40. So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

    55:40

  41. يُعۡرَفُ ٱلۡمُجۡرِمُونَ بِسِيمَٰهُمۡ فَيُؤۡخَذُ بِٱلنَّوَٰصِي وَٱلۡأَقۡدَامِ ۝٤١

    41. The criminals will be known by their marks, and they will be seized by the forelocks and the feet

    55:41

  42. فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ۝٤٢

    42. So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

    55:42

  43. هَٰذِهِۦ جَهَنَّمُ ٱلَّتِي يُكَذِّبُ بِهَا ٱلۡمُجۡرِمُونَ ۝٤٣

    43. This is Hell, which the criminals deny

    55:43

  44. يَطُوفُونَ بَيۡنَهَا وَبَيۡنَ حَمِيمٍ ءَانࣲ‏ ۝٤٤

    44. They will go around between it and scalding water, heated [to the utmost degree]

    55:44

  45. فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ۝٤٥

    45. So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

    55:45

  46. وَلِمَنۡ خَافَ مَقَامَ رَبِّهِۦ جَنَّتَانِ ۝٤٦

    46. But for he who has feared the position of his Lord are two gardens

    55:46

  47. فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ۝٤٧

    47. So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

    55:47

  48. ذَوَاتَآ أَفۡنَانࣲ‏ ۝٤٨

    48. Having [spreading] branches

    55:48

  49. فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ۝٤٩

    49. So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

    55:49

  50. فِيهِمَا عَيۡنَانِ تَجۡرِيَانِ ۝٥٠

    50. In both of them are two springs, flowing

    55:50

  51. فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ۝٥١

    51. So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

    55:51

  52. فِيهِمَا مِن كُلِّ فَٰكِهَةࣲ زَوۡجَانِ ۝٥٢

    52. In both of them are of every fruit, two kinds

    55:52

  53. فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ۝٥٣

    53. So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

    55:53

  54. مُتَّكِـِٔينَ عَلَىٰ فُرُشِۭ بَطَآئِنُهَا مِنۡ إِسۡتَبۡرَقࣲۚ وَجَنَى ٱلۡجَنَّتَيۡنِ دَانࣲ‏ ۝٥٤

    54. [They are] reclining on beds whose linings are of silk brocade, and the fruit of the two gardens is hanging low

    55:54

  55. فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ۝٥٥

    55. So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

    55:55

  56. فِيهِنَّ قَٰصِرَٰتُ ٱلطَّرۡفِ لَمۡ يَطۡمِثۡهُنَّ إِنسࣱ قَبۡلَهُمۡ وَلَا جَآنࣱّ‏ ۝٥٦

    56. In them are women limiting [their] glances, untouched before them by man or jinni

    55:56

  57. فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ۝٥٧

    57. So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

    55:57

  58. كَأَنَّهُنَّ ٱلۡيَاقُوتُ وَٱلۡمَرۡجَانُ ۝٥٨

    58. As if they were rubies and coral

    55:58

  59. فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ۝٥٩

    59. So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

    55:59

  60. هَلۡ جَزَآءُ ٱلۡإِحۡسَٰنِ إِلَّا ٱلۡإِحۡسَٰنُ ۝٦٠

    60. Is the reward for good [anything] but good

    55:60

  61. فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ۝٦١

    61. So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

    55:61

  62. وَمِن دُونِهِمَا جَنَّتَانِ ۝٦٢

    62. And below them both [in excellence] are two [other] gardens

    55:62

  63. فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ۝٦٣

    63. So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

    55:63

  64. مُدۡهَآمَّتَانِ ۝٦٤

    64. Dark green [in color]

    55:64

  65. فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ۝٦٥

    65. So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

    55:65

  66. فِيهِمَا عَيۡنَانِ نَضَّاخَتَانِ ۝٦٦

    66. In both of them are two springs, spouting

    55:66

  67. فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ۝٦٧

    67. So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

    55:67

  68. فِيهِمَا فَٰكِهَةࣱ وَنَخۡلࣱ وَرُمَّانࣱ‏ ۝٦٨

    68. In both of them are fruit and palm trees and pomegranates

    55:68

  69. فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ۝٦٩

    69. So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

    55:69

  70. فِيهِنَّ خَيۡرَٰتٌ حِسَانࣱ‏ ۝٧٠

    70. In them are good and beautiful women

    55:70

  71. فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ۝٧١

    71. So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

    55:71

  72. حُورࣱ مَّقۡصُورَٰتࣱ فِي ٱلۡخِيَامِ ۝٧٢

    72. Fair ones reserved in pavilions

    55:72

  73. فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ۝٧٣

    73. So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

    55:73

  74. لَمۡ يَطۡمِثۡهُنَّ إِنسࣱ قَبۡلَهُمۡ وَلَا جَآنࣱّ‏ ۝٧٤

    74. Untouched before them by man or jinni

    55:74

  75. فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ۝٧٥

    75. So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

    55:75

  76. مُتَّكِـِٔينَ عَلَىٰ رَفۡرَفٍ خُضۡرࣲ وَعَبۡقَرِيٍّ حِسَانࣲ‏ ۝٧٦

    76. Reclining on green cushions and beautiful fine carpets

    55:76

  77. فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ۝٧٧

    77. So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

    55:77

  78. تَبَٰرَكَ ٱسۡمُ رَبِّكَ ذِي ٱلۡجَلَٰلِ وَٱلۡإِكۡرَامِ ۝٧٨

    78. Blessed is the name of your Lord, Owner of Majesty and Honor

    55:78
